What do I Want to Learn More About?

Well, we 're in the final week of our summer course, and it's been a reading odyssey. I have tried to assimilate all that I've learned, and then we need to discuss on Monday's class what we want to learn more about. I honestly would like to learn more about reading mini lessons and reader's workshop. Some of my colleagues attended Columbia Teacher's College and took reading and writing workshops over the summer. I am interested in finding out about what I can apply to my fourth grade classroom. I'd like to learn about the reading lessons that work and the timeframe that's needed to complete them.
